A recommended tour as your intro to Rome history. great guide

I signed up for this 90min walking tour to get some historical background of the city. We didnt do the full 90min because we were expecting another patron who never showed up. Michael did his best to contact her and wait for her to arrive, which did affect the length of the tour; however, with only one customer (me!), we were able to move at a quick pace and cover the same content. It was an educational and enjoyable tour. Michael speaks perfect English and has lived in Italy for several years and certainly knew what he was talking about. I would highly recommend participating if you want to get your bearings at the beginning of a Roman vacation. It set the tone for the rest of my holiday trip.

the tour was amazing, our guide michael was really knowledgeable about the area and seemed very interested in odd facts. we were a small group and it was alot of fun to stroll around with him at night on the busy streets.

This was my second tour with Michael, and I can say that it was even better than the first! Not one joke was repeated 🙂 This is an original and unique tour of an area with fewer “free tours” that got me to notice many interesting churches and features that I would otherwise likely overlook. I warmly recommend this tour!
