We went on the evening tour and since it’s low season it turned out to be just the two of us. The tour is a good length and Michael was very friendly. We hit a few of the major spots but also visited a few of the places that I feel you could probably miss quite easily on a more commercial tour.

Arrived two minutes late and the guide was notably upset. Then the tour started and he spent 30 minutes talking about the Spanish steps then brought us to Italys first McDonalds. That was enough for us to stop the tour short.

I crossed Rome on purpose and when I arrive I learn of the cancellation.

Michael was very knowledgeable and informative and the route was excellently planned. A couple of things that could̵7;ve been better would be a) something like a flag or bright clothing would really help with visibility and b) Michael’s (albeit justified) frustrations with some of the guests’ lateness and some of the residents’ cluelessness could have been better hidden as these did make the atmosphere a little uncomfortable.

Michael was fantastic.. We were a little late as the metro had confounded us and he waited. He navigated us through busy crowds to excellent locations where we could hear him speak with helpful clarity. His historical and engineering knowledge were impressive! I wont spoil the surprise of the unexpected locations, but well worth it. ????

The guide Michael was friendly and very full of informations. We liked the tour but he skipped one sight that was listed. It is “Chiesa di Sant’Ignazio di Loyola’ which we were really looking forward to visit with a guide. Everything else was ok, the infos he gave us were interesting and usefull. What was the hardest part for me was his voice volume. It is not loud so you have to be very close to understand. He often happens to be in a position where he doesn’t speak directly to us which make it difficult to hear.

It ended up being just the two of us with our incredibly knowledgeable guide. He definitely knew his stuff and shared little details that we would have never been aware of. I highly recommend it.

We just moved away from them but it would be better to ask that people not be taking to each other or during the entire trip as it was distracting in very busy areas that were already distracting. Lastly, as the places were so crowded and we had to wade through them, we’d lost Michael in the sea of people as he held his gray bag over his head which matched everyone there clothes. Maybe use a colored umbrella where he could pop it up as needed and use small to carry? These are easily addressable concerns that I hope make his tours even better. Expected something different from the title. I didn’t like the content and the places visited, and I also didnR17;t like it because the tour guide himself didn’t seem particularly enthusiastic. It started with him complaining that many people didn’t show up and then using his cell phone super often. Annoying of course, but nothing to do with those who came on the tour. It didn’t seem like he was happy to give the tour. Overall, I didn’t feel picked up.

We had a really great tour with out guide Michael. The tour surpassed all our expectations: Neither to short nor to long, engaging and full of interesting information and places which you would never have found without this tour.

The tour was very nice! Small group, so we got to see some of the major city landmarks (Spanish steps, pantheon, trevi, navona) but also some surprises thrown in along the way. The guide, Michael was really nice, well spoken and knowledgeable. Very good experience overall!

We have a Wonderfull Tour through the historical City Center of Rome. Michael told us wunderfull Storys about the spanish Steps, the first consolate ever at the spanisch Square, the first MC Donalds in Italy and the Story around that. A awesome hidden jam was the aqueduct in the Shoping Male and there were man more nice Things one the Tour. Thank you Michael

Interesting tour through the city center, our guide showed us besides some well known spots like the Spanish steps and the Trevi Fountain, we were also visiting some hidden gems like the remains of an aquaeduct below a store.
